Aryabhatta Government Degree College Sandhole, District Mandi, H. P.

Sandhole is mainly a hilly terrain located in Middle-Western Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 726 mt. from MSL. The exact geographical co-ordinates of Sandhole are 31.86°N latitude and 76.65°E longitude.
Sandhole is a small town with tehsil headquarter. The town is situated on the left bank of Beas River. It is bordered by Jaisinghpur tehsil of district Kangra to the north, Sujanpur Tihra tehsil of district Hamirpur to the west, Sarkaghat tehsil of district Mandi to the south-west. It is the town where three districts of the state join hands together.
Govt. Degree College Sandhole Distt. Mandi (H.P.) came into existence vide State Govt. Notification No. EDN-A-Ka(1)-1/2014 dated 15.01.2014. The Hon’ble Chief Minister Sh. Virbhadra Singh laid the foundation stone of the college building on 14th Feb., 2014. and renamed it as Aryabhatta Govt. Degree College Sandhole . Presently the college is functioning from the premises of the Govt. Senior Secondary School building at Sandhole. It is a co- educational institution imparting meaningful and career building education in the undergraduate faculty of Humanities/ Commerce. The college will also provide facilities for various co-curricular, cultural and sports activities for the overall personality development of the students.
The college provides a congenial teaching learning environment that will bring out the best in students. An opportunity to study in this college will prove to be a rewarding experience to the students. It aims at imparting education that will inculcate a sense of devotion and service among the students.
